Last updated: June 16, 2026

1. Introduction

Speech Stream (the “Application”) is developed and maintained by Lestieve (the “Developer”). This privacy policy describes how the Application uses certain device features and what data may be collected by integrated third-party services.

2. Data Collected by the Developer

The Developer does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to its own servers.

All data generated by the Application (session history, saved texts, preferences) is stored on your device only and is never transmitted to the Developer.

3. Permissions Used

The Application requests access to the microphone to record your voice during speaking exercises. Audio data is processed locally on your device. It is only transmitted to an external service (Google Speech-to-Text) if you explicitly enable speech recognition in the settings.

Camera

The Application can use the front camera to record you during exercises, if you enable this option. Videos are saved on your device only and are never transmitted to external servers.

Storage

The Application saves your texts, session history, and preferences locally. This data remains on your device and is not shared with any third party by the Developer.

4. Third-Party Services

Google AdMob

The Application displays advertisements via Google AdMob if you have not made the “Remove Ads” in-app purchase. AdMob may collect data for advertising purposes, including:

If you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, the Application displays a Google UMP (User Messaging Platform) consent form at first launch. This form allows you to control the use of your data for personalized advertising purposes, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

6. Children’s Data

The Application is not intended for children under the age of 13. The Developer does not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

7. Security

All Application data is stored locally on your device. The Developer has no access to this data and cannot recover it in the event of loss or factory reset of your device.
